What can $5 per day do for your business?

When you buy into a new home/online business opportunity, you are extremely excited. You see the vision you follow directions and get everything set up. Spend Few thousand dollars,
your spouse, is giving you ‘the look’…, and you are thinking: “Oh…just wait I’ll show the look when I start making $10K per month.”

And then they tell you: “Make a long list of your friends, family, doctors, hairdresser…” if you are in MLM.
Very few people will go that path trust me. I know I didn’t, and none of my team members did either.

I will never forget, the experience that I had five years ago when I first started my online journey. It was in the health and wellness industry.

At that time I had no idea how to utilize Social Media. All I had was a Facebook account but didn’t even know how to use it.
The fact of the matter is most of the people looking for home based business are introverts just like me. They want to get things done mostly behind the computer. They didn’t sign up for “Pitch my family & friends contest.”

The other option was buying our leads from the company and calling them… yacks!
Well they did have a choice of two packages
1. Warm leads – Package of 5 for $500
2. Cold leads – Package of 10 for $80

For the first time in my life, I realized that the picking up the phone could be one of the most painful things you can imagine. At the same time

Tremendous practice and growth, a valuable lesson learned!

I only wish, I knew back then when first started my online journey what I know now.

Back o the question:

“What can $5 per day do for your business?”

Last night after watching the free videos that Chris Record. The creator of the first online academy for marketers. He is providing tons of training and some of them on Facebook (you can find it here) for his new academy, I decided to give it a try and see how far I can get with $5. It took me less than 5 minutes to write my post on Facebook and hit the ‘Boost’ button.

The best part is that you can see how the post is doing and you can pause it to optimize or just stop it and make a new one. You don’t have to wait till the money are gone to be able to change things in your post.
As you see, I did pause before I even spend $5.

When promoting your post on Facebook, you can choose your audience and target your market.
So from the screenshot, you can see that we got 24 post engagements and 184 people saw the post.

The cool part is that if you have an Instagram account connected to your fan page, Facebook will push your add to Instagram. So not only you are getting views from Facebook but also from Instagram all of this for less than $5
